The 2 cities ranked 15th most vulnerable in the country for their exposure to tariff risks
CBC NewsAbbotsford and Mission could be among the B.C. cities hardest hit if U.S. President Donald Trump follows through on his tariff threats, according to recent data from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber's report ranks 41 census metropolitan areas from most to least vulnerable to trade tariffs, and the two cities — which make up the Abbotsford-Mission metropolitan area — rank 15th, with their exports to the U.S. totalling nearly $1.5 billion annually, or $7,000 per capita.
